Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
